Buccal Pit caries adjacent to old composite Rubber dam creates ideal environment by capturing Al2O3 particles with the patented "water halo" handpiece. PrepStart H2O is not a “slurry” but rather a dry stream of high velocity particles captured on rebound by the “water halo”. Note the capture of particles by the “water halo” rather than escaping into room air. Complete cavity preparation ready for total etch procedure with Prelude adhesive. Total etch with phosphoric acid, rinse, leave damp, place adhesive. Prelude adhesive placed on damp enamel dentin and air thinned light cure for 10 seconds at 800 mwatt minimum Bulk fill of composite either flowable or paste type composite. Final restoration polished.
